Questions we get asked
If yours is not here, send it over.
Why do most products say 'price on enquiry'?
Six of the seven preparations are supplied mainly to clinics, practitioners and distributors, where the rate depends on quantity and delivery location. Rather than post a number that would be wrong for most buyers, we quote against a real request. The Chyawanprash has a published trade rate because it is sold as a single fixed pack.
How long does a quote take?
We aim to reply within one working day. Enquiries that arrive over the weekend are answered on Monday.
Can I buy a single bottle?
Yes. Add one to an enquiry and say so in the notes. Single-unit rates differ from trade rates, and the quote will reflect that.
What does 'first batch' mean on a product page?
It is the number of units in the opening production run for that preparation. It tells you what has been made, not what is left unsold today. Current availability is confirmed when we quote.
Are these products licensed?
They are manufactured as Ayurvedic preparations under the applicable Indian licensing framework. The licence number is printed on the pack and is published in the footer of this site once verified. Ask us and we will send it in writing.
Are they safe with my regular medicines?
We cannot answer that for you individually. Several botanicals do interact with prescription drugs. Take the ingredient list from the product page to your doctor or a registered Ayurvedic practitioner and ask them directly.
Can I take these during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Not without medical advice. Several herbs in these formulations are not recommended in pregnancy. Please speak to a qualified practitioner first.
How should I store them?
Cool and dry, away from direct sunlight, unless the pack says otherwise. Chyawanprash should not be refrigerated. Always use a dry spoon.
Do you ship outside India?
Not currently. Export of Ayurvedic preparations carries its own licensing requirements in both countries and we do not yet handle it.
What if something arrives damaged?
Photograph the pack and the outer carton before opening anything else and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Details are on the shipping and returns page.
